5 May 10
In promoting greater adoption of cloud computing, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) is inviting proposals from both the public and private sector to develop innovative projects in this area.
According to industry figures, the global market for cloud computing is set to grow, doubling to some US$44 billion by 2013 from last year.
While there will not be cash funding for these projects, IDA says it will support the development of these ideas by providing the use of computing and storage resources at no charge.
The deadline for submission is 11 June 2010. More details are available here .
