Singapore is the second most networked country in the world, after Sweden, according to the World Economy Forum’s Global IT Report.
Singapore moved up from fourth place in 2009 in the Networked Readiness Index, which looks at how prepared countries are in using information communications technologies by measuring the general environment for the technologies, the readiness of individuals to use them as well as their actual usage.
Denmark, Switzerland and USA were ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively in this report.
