Applications Sought for the Future Phone

In its continuous push for the development of mobile services market in Singapore, the government is calling for exciting and futuristic content that can range from games, mobile lifestyle, to mobile healthcare services. Under the FutureMobile programme, developers will have the opportunity to work with major industry players like Nokia, Singtel and Microsoft to develop and distribute services and applications. Companies with innovative proposal can be funded for up to half of their project costs in R&D. Singapore, having one of the highest mobile penetration rates in the world offers an excellent location for startups to delevop new mobile products &  services that can subsequently be extended to the global market.
