Singapore moves forward to become a regional hub for on-demand internet services

Singapore moves another step closer to becoming a regional hub for developing new online applications and attracting technology companies to set up base here. The country’s largest telco, Singtel is in partnership with IDA to commercialise locally-developed applications and IE Singapore to promote them to mobile customers and businesses in the region, through mentoring and business-matching with potential overseas customers to help independent software vendors go regional.
