Study shows local firms abound in Interactive Digital Media (IDM) sector in Singapore

According to an article in the local press on 3rd June, a study by Deloitte Consulting revealed that there are currently about 585 IDM-related companies in Singapore, with local firms making up almost 80% of this number. With a large majority of these companies being young start-ups or SMEs, it is a reflection of entrepreneurship and talent drawn to this emerging sector - one that is encouraged and promoted by government agencies including the IDA.
