Incubators and accelerators help startups get off the ground by providing them with funding, mentorship and networks.
Incubators
- Battle Ventures – Battle Ventures is a new medium company consisting of a group technology entrepreneurs and angel investors who have founded and invested in companies through all stages and have taken them through to liquidity events.
- Garag3 – Garag3 is an initiative started in 2006 by NUS Entrepreneurship Centre, headed by Professor Wong Poh Kam together with the e27 team.
- iAxil – A Venture Accelerator that helps technology entrepreneurs, startups and young companies launch, develop and grow successful companies.
- Neoteny Labs – An early stage fund focused on consumer Internet startups in Asia and the Middle East.
- Plug and Play Singapore – Partnering with the National Research Foundation under the Technology Incubation Scheme and corporate partners like SingTel, Plug and Play Singapore intends to co-invest in early high-tech companies in the country, accelerate their growth and provide them with a direct route to Silicon Valley.
- Social Slingshot — S$5 Million Singapore based incubator fund which represents the partnership between Singapore’s National Research Foundation and Brad Greenspan, founder of MySpace.
- StreamGlobal – Stream Global is a Singapore-based Venture Catalyst which aims to nurture promising start-ups in the emerging information and communication technologies (ICT) and interactive digital media (IDM) space.
Accelerators
- JFDI – JFDI.Asia’s principal activity is operating a 100-day startup to seed investment accelerator program. This program is supported by SingTel Innov8, a syndicate of business angels and two Singapore government agencies: MDA and SPRING Singapore.
